Create a sophisticated outdoor gathering place with the Portals 9-Piece Teak Outdoor Dining Set with 8 Nassau Black Chairs. This complete dining collection pairs a generous Portals rectangular table with eight contemporary Nassau chairs for a coordinated outdoor space made for family dinners, backyard celebrations, and evenings spent entertaining friends.
The collection brings together FSC-certified teak, dark aluminum, Social Plastic®, and FSC-certified wood for a distinctive mixed-material look with a thoughtful approach to material sourcing.
At approximately 82 inches long, the Portals table provides a substantial surface for outdoor dining and entertaining.
The tabletop gives you room for place settings, serving dishes, appetizers, drinks, and décor, while its rectangular shape makes it easy to create a structured dining area on a patio, deck, or beside an outdoor kitchen.
The manufacturer describes the table as suitable for approximately 6–8 people, making this eight-chair configuration ideal for maximizing the available seating around the table.
Natural FSC-certified teak gives the Portals table warmth, texture, and character.
The natural appearance of the wood creates an attractive contrast against the table's darker aluminum frame and gives the collection a more inviting feel than an all-metal outdoor dining set.
The teak features a sanded finish for a clean, refined appearance.
Eight Nassau black dining chairs complete the set, creating a full eight-person dining configuration.
Their contemporary shape and black finish coordinate beautifully with the darker elements of the Portals table while providing visual contrast against the natural teak.
The Nassau chair incorporates Social Plastic®, a recycled plastic material with an interesting social and environmental story behind it.
The plastic is collected by local collectors who can exchange recovered plastic waste for premiums designed to help provide basic family necessities.
By incorporating recovered plastic into a practical piece of outdoor furniture, the Nassau chair combines contemporary design with a more thoughtful approach to material sourcing.
Natural wood isn't limited to the dining table.
The Nassau chairs feature legs made from 100% FSC-certified wood, bringing another natural element into the collection and helping visually connect the chairs with the FSC teak table.
The combination of black Social Plastic® seating and natural wood legs gives the Nassau chair its distinctive mixed-material appearance.
This collection brings several complementary materials together.
FSC teak provides warmth. Dark aluminum creates a clean contemporary foundation. Black Social Plastic® gives the chairs their modern character, while FSC-certified wood legs bring the natural look back into the seating.
Together, the pieces create an outdoor dining area that feels coordinated without looking overly matched.
With eight chairs included, there's room to bring more people together.
Use the Portals and Nassau set for family dinners, weekend cookouts, summer celebrations, or drinks and appetizers with friends.
It also makes an excellent companion to an outdoor kitchen, BBQ island, grill station, or pizza oven by creating a dedicated place where everyone can enjoy the meal after the cooking is done.
The Portals tabletop features a sanded teak finish.
For additional protection, the manufacturer recommends applying LifestyleGarden Wood Sealer according to the product directions.
As with natural outdoor wood furniture, follow the manufacturer's recommended care and maintenance practices to maintain the appearance you prefer as the teak ages.
